Newsticker #18

nameofthesong - Trailermusic Newsticker 18 - Picture

Songs / Music / Sound Design used in (new and old) Teasers / Trailers / TV-Spots:
(Note: Mentioned Teasers / Trailers / TV-Spots can contain additional Music.)

A Bigger Splash - UK Trailer
Track: Thee Attacks - I Know What I Want

DC's Legends of Tomorrow - 'One Chance' Teaser
Track: Fall Out Boy - Novocaine

Everybody Wants Some - Trailer
Track: The Knack - My Sharona, Track: Van Halen - Everybody Wants Some

High-Rise - UK Teaser Trailer 2 (Official Teaser Trailer)
Track: Tangerine Dream - Love on a Real Train (1984 (Release) Version, probably modified) / Note: Several versions of this song exist. The teaser seems to use here the (first) one from 1984 (recording year was 1983 though), which has probably been modified for the trailer. The 1984 version can be found on the soundtrack of the movie 'Risky Business', for which Tangerine Dream wrote the score. It exists in two lengths: one LP version, which is 2:15 minutes long, and a 3:58 minutes long one for CD. If you're looking for the 1984 track version now, you'll probably (only) find the latter one here. The teaser music info of this post also refers to the 3:58 minutes
track - can't say if the shorter one contains all the music parts used in the regarding teaser trailer.

London Has Fallen - Trailer 2
Track: Jack Trammell (Position Music) - Compelled / Note: Track might have been modified.

Mountains May Depart - Trailer
Track: Pet Shop Boys - Go West

Uncharted 4: A Thief's End - 'Man Behind the Treasure' Teaser
Track: The Hit House - Nathan's Brain (Teaser Version) / Note: This is a (production music) cover of the song 'Where Is My Mind' by The Pixies. Not to be confused with the piano cover done by Maxence Cyrin - its beginning seems to have a certain resemblance to the one from 'The Hit House' version. You can listen to the teaser-, and now also to an extended (partially perhaps a bit different) version of the track at their Soundcloud page.

Volume - Trailer feat. User Generated Content
Track: David Housden - A Fickle Food (from the Volume OST)
