Below you can find a quote of the regarding reply, together with two others from him and Brian Parnell, one of the (three!) developers of the game. (Those replies can be found in the comment section of the trailer video from the official 'Prey for the Gods' Youtube channel.)
Recently from Ian Dorsch: 'We're going to make the trailer music available some time in the next few days (whenever I have time to sit down and render/master a version with no SFX).'
From Ian Dorsch: ' (...) The trailer score has some elements in common with the in-game music, but it's definitely trailer music, especially the heavier sounding stuff with the big trailer hits. There's nothing really like that in the game. (...) '
From Brian Parnell / No Matter Studios: 'Oh a version of this will definitely be in the game. This is a part of the theme song to Prey for the Gods. Ian and I were adamant about getting this into the trailer because we felt so strongly about it. Think of this as the "radio edit" with some trailer-esque vibes after the vocals. Thanks Brian'
