    3. 'Wait' starts at minute 1:25, the music starting with minute 0:57 is a different song.

    6. @Hapadave That's the song, thanks! Must have missed it somehow back then, because I probably concentrated too much on the 'bells' part of the trailer music.

    7. The bells part you are thinking of is particles of the universe from beasts of the southern wild i think

    8. @Anonymous Hi, thank you for your comment. The song 'Particles Of The Universe' sounds similar, but the mentioned part is actually also from 'I Think I Broke Something'. You can hear the part with the 'bells', starting minute 0:46 in the trailer, at minute 01:00 in the song.

    1. Well I have a short and a long answer to this question. The short one is that I don't know the music here; the longer answer is that, when the trailer came out I read a comment that the trailer should contain sth. from the score of the movie 'Beasts of the Southern Wild'. This statement seemed to be adressed to the music starting with minute 0:43. So I listened to tracks of this score - what I could find, full tracks and previews - and found in the end one that did seem to sound a bit similar at the beginning. Can't tell you anymore though which track that has been. But there was no song which did really fit here imo. So if you want you can try your luck and listen to the score of that movie if you have the possibility, perhaps you find sth. which I have oberlooked. Greetings.

  3. Just saw the Unbroken trailer for first time and the inner geek in me went nuts! The first music IS from the score for Beasts of the Southern Wild. Haven't seen that film but randomly bought it on my Kindle and has been one of the best random purchases ever. Entire album is ridiculously beautiful. First music in Unbroken trailer is Particles of the Universe on the score, the first song on album BOTSW OST 01 - Particles Of The Universe (Heartbe…: http://youtu.be/KkNNOPEwihY.

    1. Hi, thank you for your comment! You are right, the music is indeed from the soundtrack of BOTSW. 'Particles Of The Universe' sounds similar, but @Hapadave is right here, they used 'I Think I Broke Something' for the trailer. (You can hear the music part with the 'bells', starting minute 0:46 in the trailer, at minute 01:00 in the mentioned song. The 'cello' part, beginning with minute 0:56 in the trailer, starts at minute 0:12 in the song.)

Guess I concentrated too much at that 'bells' part of the trailer music when I listened to songs of the soundtrack, which starts in the mentioned track a bit later. (Didn't listen to everry song from start to finish back then, must have missed that part.)
Anyway, they used beautiful music for the trailer here, and thanks to all of your help, I can now add the missing song to the post :-).

    2. You're completely right! Lol I was so excited that it was from that music score that I'm pretty sure my geeking out drowned out reason. But this site has helped me in many moments of curiosity, flustered fury, and those fun 'haHA, I was right!' moments with my husband, so I'm glad to help-even if it was just in the right direction-ish lol
And I very much suggest putting this album on during cleaning, cooking, homework, those writer block moments, delivering a baby, or just when your life needs a musical score. <X3

    3. @jesseline Hi! Sorry for my late answer... It's great to see your excitement for the music here - everybody should have such geeking out moments from time to time! (Speaking of which...: 'There's been an awakening...' Wheee! big time to this certain teaser :-)! )

And it makes me happy to see that the site could help you in the past, thank you for your visits :-)! Hope I can also help here in the future!

Music really can enrichen your (daily) life. It has so much power to reach and move you deeply like nothing else. Everyone should have a personal musical score as a companion imo :-). In the past days, thousands of people have visited this blog entry, so the score of the movie might have gained some new friends by now :-)!

  4. Anyone know the song from the TV Spot 25 for this movie? http://youtu.be/G0tXVlbUO-U

  5. The music/composer is John Samuel Hanson. The song is called Unashamed. He scores music for the trailers. Good stuff.

    1. Hello, thank you for your comment - the music you mention is used in the first trailer and the Olympics preview video of the movie - can't say here if the track can also be heard in other promos for Unbroken - not in the regarding tv spot though.
